We are seeing discrimination in education and employment against transgender challenged more and more not only by transgender students themselves and their parents but also by the society. Equality and non-discrimination are our fundamental principal where there is a longstanding prohibition against discrimination on the basis of sex. The ability of transgender students to fully enjoy their right to education is impacted in a variety of ways most commonly. We see not only deliberate harassment and discrimination by teachers and fellow students leading transgender students to drop out of school, but also the exclusion of transgender students from education by being denied the opportunity to wear the school uniform or use the toilets congruent with their gender identity. Transgender students need constant representation and support the education system need constant representation and support in the education system so that stigmas pertaining to identity can be addressed. We here at young India career federation provide the platform to all those transgender students who do not want to give-up , fulfil their dreams, and support them all to stay strong against society norms.
