Young India Federation has started a fully equipped mobile medical van that offers basic healthcare services to the underprivileged free of cost under our project called “Jeevan”. Health on Wheels is an initiative with the objective of providing a comprehensive range of health care services to remote areas and slums. We not only provide health-check ups but also Free OPD services and medicines.

A number of health camps have been organized over the years to provide Eye check-up, Dental check-ups, Cancer Screening camps, etc. The van has traveled across many slum clusters & villages in the Delhi NCR region. Moreover, basic medicines are also provided as per the requirement free of cost.

Target Location & Target Beneficiaries

We aim at changing more and more lives with Health on Wheels van by reaching those in need of medical assistance in the villages and urban slum clusters in and around Delhi & NCR. The underprivileged people living in the targetted areas are the beneficiaries of the program who are miles away from receiving proper medical treatment at the time of need. The program especially focuses on the health of women and children because they are more confined to their resident areas than men.
